Announcement: Blog Makeover + Short Hiatus (+ Up Coming Giveaway?)

Announcement

Hello everyone!

I’ve been busy lately and haven’t been able to blog much, I haven’t even been able to read much which always sucks! So I’m taking just a short break from blogging.

I’m taking this short hiatus to prepare my blog for the new year with graphics, possibly a new layout, and new posts. I’ve always loved scrolling through blogs that have gaw-gee-ous graphics (how do they do it!!) and now I want to take this time to make my own and make my blog look nice.

I’m really excited for blogging next year! I already have ideas of some posts I want to get up (a lot of them are discussion posts) but I also would love to here what you would like to see on this blog. Please let me know in the comments below how I can improve this blog or just tweet me @TattooedPages . I always respond!

Don’t worry though! This blog won’t be completely quiet. I have some scheduled posts and one is a book review (on the 20th) with a giveaway provided by the author! So keep an eye out for that.

ACOTAR and TOG series to be on screen??

PicMonkey Collage

Yesterday I saw scrolling through twitter when I saw Sarah J. Mass’s very excited tweet:

So I guess there is a huge possiblity that you will see this hit theaters.

And if that wasn’t exciting enough for you, there’s more! the Throne of Glass series has also been optioned to hit the screen, but this time as a TV series!

Wow! I think this would translate amazingly as a TV series!

So let me know how you guys are taking this news!

She broke the news to her readers via her tumblr. It takes patience to be a writer and patience to be a reader 😉

However… The Raven King just released it’s cover into the world! I haven’t read the books yet, (It’s on my list people) but I’ve always admired the covers and this one is NO exception :

Attention Potterheads!

Scrolling through Instagram I came across a picture of a headline.

‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ is the official eighth Potter story and the first to be presented on stage.

Potterheads everywhere are freaking out! Another story. Another story featuring the beloved Harry Potter. Your wish has been granted.

Now before I continue let me say: The only Harry Potter book I’ve read was the first one. So I won’t be able to fangirl with you guys. Liked I’ve mentioned before, they intimidate me in a way. All I hear is “You have to read them!!” and usually if I read a book merely for the hype then I don’t end up liking it as much as I would have if I read it when I actually felt like it. Good news is: I think I’m ready to read Harry Potter 🙂 (I’ll have to pick up the books. Maybe in November or December because there’s a lot of books I have to get through.) Now that that’s settled lets continue…
