¡Hola mis amigos de internet! It’s Bloggiesta time! What is Bloggiesta you ask?
In short, Bloggiesta is a blogging marathon revolving around ticking off those items on your to-do list and improving your blog while in the good company of other awesome bloggers doing the same thing. Our awesome mascot Pedro (Plan. Edit. Develop. Review. Organize) is ready to break out the nachos, enchiladas, drinks, mariachi music and whack a pinata or two! It’s nothing short of an awesome fiesta!
I’ve been busy lately and haven’t been able to blog much, I haven’t even been able to read much which always sucks! So I’m taking just a short break from blogging.
I’m taking this short hiatus to prepare my blog for the new year with graphics, possibly a new layout, and new posts. I’ve always loved scrolling through blogs that have gaw-gee-ous graphics (how do they do it!!) and now I want to take this time to make my own and make my blog look nice.
I’m really excited for blogging next year! I already have ideas of some posts I want to get up (a lot of them are discussion posts) but I also would love to here what you would like to see on this blog. Please let me know in the comments below how I can improve this blog or just tweet me@TattooedPages . I always respond!
Don’t worry though! This blog won’t be completely quiet. I have some scheduled posts and one is a book review (on the 20th) with a giveaway provided by the author! So keep an eye out for that.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is a book written by J.K. Rowling (as Newt Scamander) about the magical creatures in the Potter universe. It is to be adapted into a film in 2016 (expected release date: nov. 18, 2016) and the screen play was written by Rowling herself! (click on the pictures below […]
If you didn’t know Maggie Stiefvater’s new book (book #4) in the Raven’s Cylce series, The Raven King, isn’t coming out September 29, 2015. The release date has been pushed back to February 2016. She broke the newsto her readers via her tumblr. It takes patience to be a writer and patience to be a reader 😉
However… The Raven King just released it’s cover into the world! I haven’t read the books yet, (It’s on my list people) but I’ve always admired the covers and this one is NO exception :
Scrolling through Instagram I came across a picture of a headline.
‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ is the official eighth Potter story and the first to be presented on stage.
Potterheads everywhere are freaking out! Another story. Another story featuring the beloved Harry Potter. Your wish has been granted.
Now before I continue let me say: The only Harry Potter book I’ve read was the first one. So I won’t be able to fangirl with you guys. Liked I’ve mentioned before, they intimidate me in a way. All I hear is “You have to read them!!” and usually if I read a book merely for the hype then I don’t end up liking it as much as I would have if I read it when I actually felt like it. Good news is: I think I’m ready to read Harry Potter 🙂 (I’ll have to pick up the books. Maybe in November or December because there’s a lot of books I have to get through.) Now that that’s settled lets continue…
Have you guys seen the cover for the third installment of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children? I ran into it on Instagram and I loved it. Not as eerie as the previous two though.
I love how the pictures in these books add to the eerie atmosphere and that’s one of the things I’m looking forward to seeing.
